Yacht & Compliance Coordinator

As the Yacht & Compliance Coordinator at NauticALL, the employee will be engaged in daily Yacht Management practices, interaction with the YM Team, Fleet yachts and Owners as directed.

NauticALL is aiming to be first in line with quality of services to ensure and enjoyable experience for our owners but most importantly implement and cultivate an high level of safety standards on our fleet vessels.

Communication is key, and the candidate must communicate efficiently and promptly any pertinent information.

The Yacht & Compliance Coordinator reports to the Yacht Manager/Yacht Management Director.

Main roles for the Yacht & Compliance Coordinator are the following:

  • Dedicated shore support to a fleet of yachts
  • Train and learn to become a Yacht Manager. The number of vessels managed will depend on yacht sizes and services they require
  • Become a certified DPA and CSO for the company. Upon completion the candidate can be appointed alternative DPA and/or alternative CSO for a number of yachts
  • Effectively communicating with the yacht crew and Owners
  • Dealing with technical and engineering issues and finding prompt solutions. Similarly as shoreside support provide assistance and solution for any logistic matter.
  • Monitoring the safety and security systems onboard
  • Day to day operations and control of the ISM/ISPS & MLC compliance
  • Ensuring compliance of the fleet with national and international conventions and regulations for each vessel (SOLAS, ISM, ISPS, MLC, MARPOL, REG Yacht Code, etc.).
  • Maintaining the ‘Document of Compliance’ with each individual Flag State.
  • Daily communication with the Captain, Chief Engineer and Safety Officer regarding safety practices and compliance.
  • If appointed, as the main point of contact in case of Emergency.
  • Performing Internal Audits and Ship Security Assessments as appointed.
  • Attending vessels on special occasions such as annual surveys, external audits, Port State Controls and whenever needed to provide support.
  • Reviewing and Implementing Safety Management Manuals, Ship Security Plans, Standard Operating Procedures, Ships Specific Plans & Manuals.
